The Entrance Into the Anti- World

The experiments at the European Centre for Physics Research confirmed that each particle has its antiparticle, which is the reason why we have to assume that every single world must have its own – anti- world.

If there is a secret that has long been spoiling the dream of astrophysicists, it is the secret of antimatter. It puzzled them its absence: they have been searching for it in the most distanced parts of the universe without any luck, but its absence undermines the most consistent theory of the origin of the cosmos. Until recently, astrophysics was unable to explain why, in this vastness, it could be a matter, and that, at the same time, there is the same amount of antimatter.

But thanks to the ingenious intuition of the Soviet theorists of antimatter, Andrei Sakharov, scientists are now on the way to solve this mystery. The creation of the CERN (European Center for Research of particle physics) of the first atom anti-hydrogen, will confirm, they hope, their hypothesis of the existence of a parallel world- anti- world.

Antimatter from the lab

Nine anti-atoms already lived somewhat of a second inside the accelerator at CERN. Are these hydrogen atoms are the first man-made, the only one in the universe? Or, is there somewhere "natural brothers" for which we do not know in the anti- world, symmetrical to ours, who never gave the slightest hint of their existence? This is a big secret; in a sense, the strangeness is not that the man failed to produce antimatter, but antimatter is that the world does not have much more.

The laws of physics are symmetrical, so it is unclear why they modeled a one-sided world, made only of matter. Antimatter was first theoretical concept until it was created in the laboratory. First appeared back in 1931, in a single equation - in their twenties and thirties of the twentieth century, the golden age of modern physics, each year had its own "harvest" of new particles and revolutionary discoveries about the structure of atoms. Brand new quantum theory revealed the strange and paradoxical behavior of that microscopic anti- world.

British mathematician Paul Dirac, sought to mathematically describe the behavior of electrons, reconciling the great principles: principles of modern physics, quantum theory and Einstein's special relativity (applicable to objects whose speed close to the speed of light). In fact, Dirac wanted to relativize and generalized quantum equation of electrons, so that it is applicable on a very fast electrons. And he, indeed, came to the remarkable equations, simultaneous quantum and relativistic which, moreover, spontaneously brought to light, as in the miracle properties of electrons which came to experience. Then the Dirac pointed to the "free particles of antimatter."
