Together with two Israeli colleagues, Rips used s computer program to decrypt the Bible. Their work lasted until 1994, when the well-known scientific journal “Statistical Science” published their surprising findings entitled “Constants letters in the Book”.

They first chose 300 Hebrew terms that have similar meanings, later add the names given to the birth and death of 66 most famous Jews who lived between IX and XIX century. Then the whole thing was treated as one unit, one text, no space between words and characters. Then, in the text, which was 304,805 characters long, looked for pre-selected names.

The computer began to combine the letters by the combined first with the second, then with the the third ... with thousandths etc.

Warning of Rabin was a combination of letters rows - every fourth, twelfth or fifteenth letter of the text. If in reading the signs of skipping a number of letters, we get readable text. Words like 'Rabbi', 'Amir', 'Tel Aviv' s old murder. Crosswise over Rabin's name were the words: “The killer who wants to kill you”.

Israeli mathematician has published his experience in relation to the Gulf War.

We used computer to search for the name Saddam (Saddam Hussein). We did that because we are convinced that the combination of letters forming a search term according to a mathematical logic. In an area that is indicated on the Gulf War found themselves terms as: "Scuds", "Russian missiles" and the date of beginning of the war and the name “Hussein”.
