SVALBARD TREZOR
Intended to protect the future, "doomsday vault" (global seed warehouse) is located on the island of Spitsbergen in the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, in Norway.
This vault was initially kept only their crops, but has recently received delivery of three seeds. Seeds of Norway spruce and Scots pine cannot be a meal, but they have a key ecological role, and researchers will use these seeds to track the genetic development of forests over the years.
Global seed warehouse is huge and is located approximately 1,300 kilometers from the North Pole. The Norwegian government has spent 45 million dollars for the construction of the vault.
Earth is constantly faced with various challenges that may jeopardize food safety, such as political instability, climate change and population increase.
Therefore, the scientists came up with the idea to build the Treasury in which could be collected more than 800,000 seeds of existing plants, in order to protect the biodiversity of the Earth in case of cataclysm of global proportions.
Visitors are not allowed here, although many people prefer to see this incredible vault.
Mezhgorye
Mezhgorye is a city in Russia, which is a big secret for years and is therefore closed to visitors. Here live the people who are employed on a mysterious top Yamantau at an altitude of 1,640 meters in the Urals.
This city was founded in 1979, but different set of circumstances in the last three decades has placed it under the shadow of secrecy.
Satellite images show that at this location is placed the giant underground nuclear facility or bunker. He was excavated at the time of the mandate of Russian President Boris Yeltsin. Above bunkers were built barracks for two military garrisons "Belorek 15" and "Belorek 16".
In this Russian city nobody can step up, and many are speculating what is in it. Among the explanations and justifications are found that it was mine, warehouse for food, facilities for the protection of people, but also that this is bunker for leadership in the event of nuclear war.
