The Dark Secret Of Walt Disney

For millions of children around the world who grew up watching Disney cartoons, he was smiling, mustachioed animator who gave some of the most beloved characters to the youngest. However, it was discovered that Walt Disney was also a close confidant of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) using his studies in order to promote the agency, while the staff could free stays at Disneyland.

Spy

Papers that are published recently show that the famous animator informed the FBI about "communists" among its employees, while for one of his employees said he was a supporter of Russia because "he don’t have a religion and often travels to Moscow to the theater."

As stated, this relationship began in 1947, around the same time when Disney became a close friend of J. Edgar Hoover. That year, Disney told the US Committee all the details of the strike in his studio in 1941 for which he blamed communism.

He even went so far as to identify emerging animators one by name - David Hilberman, and said he was the leading Communists and "brain of strike".

While the relationship with the FBI grew closer within the time, in 1956 Disney went a step further when he offered agents to use Disneyland for free.

According to the FBI, "Mr. Disney voluntarily allowed access to all the facilities of Disneyland in official and recreational purposes." The hero of the children did not stop here and he offered at his exhibition to present the work of the agency to children and young people.

- He (Disney) asked if it would possible to prepare a presentation or demonstration by the FBI about how agencies work - written by agents.

Disney’s shows promoted FBI

Creator of some of the favorite children's characters also offered to make three shows which were finally issued in 1958, and promoted by the FBI through the "Mickey Mouse Club".

The show included boys reporter of 13 years Dirk Metzegra, or son of a navy colonel, who made a tour through the FBI, and viewers could see the agents to shoot at targets, martial arts, as well as to learn about Disney's close friend Edgar Hoover.

Disney originally wanted to show how a child handles a loaded gun at the scene, but the FBI sought to expel the scene.

The FBI later gave up to participate in the exhibition, but not because Disney stopped insisting.
