"Our consciousness creates reality." This is a claim that has earned a lot of attention throughout the alternative media around the world.

On the other hand, this consciousness is the object of study of many scientists, especially in its connection with the quantum physics and the nature of our reality.
What is consciousness? It includes many things. Consciousness is the way we perceive our world, our thoughts, intentions etc.

"The search for consciousness in the brain is the same as the quest for radio host in a radio", says Nasse Haramein, the leader of research Resonance Project." I believe that consciousness is the basis. I believe that a substance is derived from the consciousness.
We cannot avoid it. All we're talking about, all that really exists, requires consciousness. ", said Max Planck, a theoretical physicist who founded the quantum theory for which he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1918.
The claim that "consciousness creates reality" raises many, many questions. Does it mean that we, as individuals or the human race, can create whatever reality we want for ourselves? Does this mean that we can produce a different lifestyle and our experience? Is this happening right now or it takes time? How we can do that?
While we are not able to answer to these questions with an absolute scientific precision, we know that in some way there is a connection between consciousness and the physical material world in some form.
Also, nothing more is known about this relationship, we just know that it exists and that has some relevance.
"The main conclusion of the new physics is understanding that an observer shapes reality. As observers, we are personally involved in creating our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a mental construction. So, deal with it and accept the conclusion - the universe is immaterial, mental and spiritual. ", says RC Henry, a professor of physics and astronomy at Johns Hopkins University.
Quantum double slit experiment is a very popular experiment which measures how our consciousness and our material world are twisted. In this experiment, double sectioned optical system tested the possible role of consciousness in the collapse of the quantum wave function. The research has revealed that factors which are significantly associated with the consciousness are the part of reality.

Although it is one of the most popular experiments for checking the connection between consciousness and physical reality, there are many other studies that clearly demonstrate that consciousness is in some way directly connected with our reality. Many studies in the field of parapsychology demonstrated this.
Modern science, especially quantum physics, studies the ancient mysticism and concepts that are deeply rooted in many cultures throughout the ancient world. One great example of this assertion is the premise that everything is energy, and that matter is nothing.
"We are what we think, all that we are arises from our thoughts, and our thoughts shape the world." - Gautama Buddha.
