In the shortest, it is a system of procedure when marketers use classic marketing tools and combine them with prospecting skills. In most cases, this model is used by small and middle companies, primarily because this strategy does not requires big budget.

If you want to do it in a proper way, you will have to prepare your tools, which we regularly use when we want to increase our business and build up our marketing performances. In the next step, we must use these tools and all other strategies to attract new customers. This is the essence of marketing by prospecting. Of course, there is also reverse strategy, which is known as prospecting by marketing, but it is just not our topic. We will be focused on the first strategy.

As we said in the beginning, you there is no need to have a big budget to be successful in this business and increase sales. So, if you have budget that can cover buying TV station or something like that, then you should forget about this strategy. This is primarily designed for marketers who have a problem with finances and people who just cannot invest big money i their marketing campaigns.

Let’s repeat the basic things. This strategy has two parts: marketing and prospecting. IN the first scenario, our goal is promotion of our products or service and letting other people to know about them. In the second step, we are focused on potential buyers, on people who would be interested in buying pout products.

It is cheap but very effective strategy. For example, when it comes to marketing tools, you can use things like flyers, pamphlets, power point or just an ordinary website. Of course, content marketing (articles) and public speaking are always welcome.

As you can see, the basic concept is really simple and everyone can do it. If you do not have enough money for big promotional campaign then this strategy will definitely be perfect for you.
