Bizarre things

In short, it is an ancient and totally authentic wilderness - the perfect place for an abundance of myths and legends of strange creatures and anomalous zones where bizarre things happen. Even local wild man, Chuchuna, is not even among the top five in the crowd of mystery stories of the Siberian oddities. The most fascinating mystery of all is probably the strange legend of a horrible valley of death, crowded with unnatural domed structures.

Local tradition remembers that lone hunters from the nomadic tribes Evenk and Yakut, who roamed these strange valleys - there are more than one - described unusual hemispherical 'iron house' (Kelda) which protrude from the eternally frozen ground. These smooth, reddish formations often have an opening at the top and an open staircase leads down to a circular gallery with a large number of metal rooms. Despite outside temperatures of minus 40, witnesses claim that the interior of the building is pleasantly warm. The old Yakut do not know the origin of the 'iron houses ", or to whom they belong. Foggy human memories are linked to ancient demons of taiga: Nurgun Bootura and Tong Duuraia.

Dangerous for all living beings

These mysterious structures locals mentioned under the name olgus - overturn the boiler. They say that buildings are minted by the unknown, incredibly hard metal colors like copper, with edges sharp as a razor blade. No one has ever managed to break off or cut off even the slightest piece. Over time, the Yakut noted that some 'boilers' gradually sinking into the frozen ground and disappearing, leaving a circular stains of unusual vegetation. These places are very dangerous for all living beings. 'Stay too long and you will get sick, and unknown fatal disease will grab you, explain the old Yakut. Therefore, the tribal elders banned people to go to the area and declared them cursed places. The region is called- Death Valley.

There is also a contemporary story about the passengers who saw the mysterious 'boiler' in the taiga. Some sounded quite plausible, other pretty amazing. Mikhail Korecki from Vladivostok described in the newspaper "Trud" that he was in Death Valley three times. For the first time in 1933 when he was 10 years old, the second time in 1937, and the third time in 1947 with friends. He saw seven 'boilers'. They all looked very mysterious and had 6 to 9 meters in diameter. The vegetation around them was unusual, vigorous than plants in the environment, giant leaves and an extremely long handles. The grass was two times higher than a man. During the last visit to Death Valley, Korecki with friends slept in a 'boiler'. Although nothing dramatic had happened that night, one of the friends became completely bald, and Koreck got two ulcers that never healed.
