The Most Powerful Secret Societies- Part Three
Black hand
Black Hand was the name of a secret society of political revolutionaries, anti-imperialist-minded, established in Serbia in 1912. The group wanted to unite the South Slavic nations of Europe into a single state. They spread anti Austro-Hungarian propaganda and trained a number of saboteurs and murderers.
This group would probably been forgotten if they had not been participating in one of the biggest events of the 20th century. In 1914, they organized the murder of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, when Gavrilo Princip murdered him and his wife in the car. This murder was the reason for the outbreak of the First World War.
Assassins- The League of Killers
They were mysterious group of Muslim killers who operated in the Middle East during the 13th century. The organization was founded by the Muslims, Shiites, who were separated from a larger organization and connected in order to form a utopian Shi'ite state. Because of the small numbers, they used guerrilla tactics against the enemy, including espionage, sabotage and political killings. They were known for their exceptional discretion, which was reflected in the minimal civilian casualties. As the story goes, the enemy leaders would be wake up in the morning and came across a knife laid on the pillow, with the message: "We got you." The legend about them quickly spread, and before the Mongols finally destroyed this group, they became known contract killers, who worked the dirty works for the one who hired them.
Bilderberg Group
By definition, Bilderberg group is not a secret society, but it is working under the veil of mystery. The group was founded in 1954, and since then its members gather each year at an exclusive conference to bring together world leaders, bankers, economists and media moguls. The conference can be attended only by those with invitations. The group was founded by people concerned about the spread of anti-American sentiment after World War II, but, over the years, their discussion turned into a broader discussion of the achievement of mutual understanding among different cultures.
The Bilderberg group is challenged because one key reason: in their conferences are not allowed the media to be present, nor issued statements from their conference. At a conference in 2009 held in Greece, participated Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bild, US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, president of the World Bank Robert Zoellick ...
Eastern temple order
Ordo Templi orientis is the mystical organization, founded in the early 20th century, modeled on less secret "free masons". The group and relies on ritual and occult rituals, which serve as means by which the members climb in the hierarchy within the organization. General philosophical principle was the belief in the esoteric principles of a new era, as a method for realizing the true identity of the person. The famous occultist Aleister Crowley and eccentric compiled the manifesto "Mystery mystic maxim," and later became its leader. After his death, the influence and popularity of order began to fade.
