The Most Powerful Secret Societies- Part Two

Skull And Bones

Student association from Yale "Skull and Bones" was the most famous student organization. Every spring they were receiving new members. Among them were American presidents (George HW Bush, George W. Bush), senators, judges of the Supreme Court, which led many to believe that the group acts as a kind of underground organization and achieve the aims of the political elite.

There is no doubt that society is very rich. Membership in this society is no longer a secret, but their rituals are. They meet twice a week, but what's going on behind closed doors at their meetings, was never discovered. It is well known the case when the chief of the tribe Apache sued them, claiming that the skeleton of Geronimo is in their possession. In addition, it is known that they allegedly forcing new members to talk about their intimate life to the rest of the group, and that each new member has a nickname.

Thus, there is a story that George Bush senior was nicknamed Magog, which is given to members with the most sexual experience.

Sons of liberty

The Sons of liberty is the name of a group of dissidents that existed in America before the Revolutionary War. They were not a secret society in the classic sense. They were more like small groups of patriots scattered by the colonies, which have united for the sake of a common goal. Usually, they were meeting in Boston, under an elm tree that has since become known as the tree of liberty.

This is a place where they agreed on the actions of resistance that included the distribution of leaflets, and even some terrorist activities. The Boston group was the strongest among the other groups of the Sons of Liberty. But the others were also very active. The group Rhode Island burned a British cargo ship in protest of unfair trade. However, the most famous event is the so-called "Boston Tea Party" from 1773, when the members dressed up as Indians drowned cargo of tea into Boston Harbor.

Thule Society

For a large number of secret organizations it is suspected to have evil intentions, but this group is one of the few that this is proved. They began to gather in Germany after the First World War, were involved in the occult, but they soon transformed into an organization that promoted the ideology of the Aryan race, and which ranked racist attitudes toward Jews and other minorities.

In 1919, they founded the political organization called Workers' Party of Germany. Adolf Hitler was one of the members. He will take over the game, which will be later converted into a Nazi party. But before that, members of the Society Thule were involved in some very bizarre activities. The strangest was their fascination with the Aryan race.

Knights of the Golden Circle

This secret society was operating in the United States during the Civil War. At first, they tried to come to the annexation of Mexico and the Caribbean. However, when the war started, they shifted their focus from colonialism to fire support to the newly formed government of the Confederacy. Soon they got thousands of followers. In the northern states, they had a major impact. Many newspapers and public figures have accused supporters of the South, including President Franklin Pierce, that were members of the secret organization the Knights of the Golden Circle. The Knights are not only engaged in secret meetings and mysterious plans.

They often formed renegade gang to their goals, turning them into reality by force. A member was the outlaw Jesse James. Group undertook a failed attempt the conquest of Mexico in 1860, although they had a control of southern New Mexico for short.
