Conspiracies Turned Out To be True
You have probably encountered at some point in your life at least on one conspiracy theory that were interested to you. There is approximately the same number of those mysteries as imaginative people in the world, and some of them are so precisely forged that they have succeeded to deceive mass. However, some conspiracy theories have turned out to be true.
These are seven of bizarre conspiracy theories that turned out to be true:
1. Experiment with syphilis
In the period from 1932 to 1972 in the United States, more than 400 African-Americans were deliberately infected with syphilis and were treated with placebo. They were left to die, in order to scientists be able to study the effects on the body.
The study was led by the USA Ministry of Health, and patients were promised free treatment, although they were given only aspirin. The experiment was to determine whether syphilis affected black people differently than the white man.
During his term, former President Bill Clinton publicly apologized to the surviving patients, which at that point wer eight.
2. Project MK-ULTA
Official reports from the CIA saying that their agents applied bizarre methods to control the human mind.
Electroconvulsive therapy, hypnosis, and drug use are just some of the methods that were used by CIA agents.
4. "Operation Paperclip"
Operation Paperclip was the code name for a (then secret) operation, performed in 1945, which the United States recruited scientists from the defeated Nazi Germany.
The best known of the scientists who was recruited in that way was Wernher von Braun, who led the American Astronautic program.
4. Irina testimony
Because of oil or for freedom? Irina’s testimony influenced on attitude of the US on the invasion of Iraq.
Ira, a young girl, decided to testify against acts of Saddam Hussein. She testified about the inhumane things that were committed by his soldiers, including the massacre of 300 babies in the hospital (she was present). The Council took her accusations for granted, giving support to the United States to attack Iraq. After this, the Gulf War started.
Later, after the war, it turned out that the girl is daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US, Sheikh Saud Nasser al Saud Al Sabah, who is part of the royal family.
It is alleged that the Ira went through a detailed course of acting before her testimony and that the whole story was on a contract of 11 million dollars.
5. Hilsboro
The tragedy that took 96 lives happened during a FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at the stadium Hilsbrou 1989, protective fence on stadium collapsed.
