SEO and Social Marketing
I get surprised every time when I hear people talking that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not something you have to worry about. There are certain gurus across the Internet that even claims how SEO is dead. I do not really understand those experts. Of course, overuse in the optimization is not allowed and Google does not like website that mess with keyword stuffing or link wheel strategies. This is something that belongs to the past. However, optimization is still important, no matter are we talking about the on page or off-page optimization. If you want to be ranked in the major search engine, especially in the Google, you will have to do some SEO.
On the other hand, naked SEO is not enough and you will have success if you rely only on this strategy. You just have to have great content and you must do some serious social marketing job. This is all connected and represents one system. If something missing, you will stay in the middle of nowhere.
When we are talking about the social marketing and social presence on the Internet, we talk, in the first place, about the Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and other big social platforms. Let’s take only the Facebook for the example. There are more than 500 million people there, which make it great platform for boosting your social interaction. You can make your profile for free and place there the URL of your website. In that way, you make an opportunity to increase traffic and make better business results.
SEO is not enough for the best results because it is not focused on the relationships with your customers. And that is something very important in the marketing. IN that way, social platform are great addition for your perfectly designed promotional campaign.
