Earth is Hollow- Part Two
As we mentioned in the previous post, the idea about the inner world that is located in the big hole on the earth is not something new. Almost all ancient people had something similar in their religious and myths. The historians have discovered these legends in the old manuscript of ancient Greeks, Tibetans and even early Christians. In the old legends of the Mexican people, it is said that there is one mysterious cave near the town of Ojinago where live strange and bizarre creatures.

However, not only “ordinary” people believed in such myths. Even some of the most scientists from the past believed in it. For example, the astronomer from the 18.century Edmund Halley had a theory that strange and confusing readings of compass are caused by the hollow shells.
The first man who started this viral story was John Symmes, the veteran of the Anglo-American war in 1812. He published a book “Banvard’s Folly” in which he presented his theory about the concentric spheres in the Earth and some strange polar voids that soldiers of his time saw.
He wrote for the first time that the Earth must be a hollow where strange creatures that we cannot even imagine live. He explained that deep under the planet surface exists several spheres, which are open at the Earth’s poles. He even announced that he is ready to research those spheres.
He managed to organize the real expedition and, according to the historical data, he had support for the government. Senator Richard Thompson announced in 1822 that Symmes will have their support and the government paid for two vessels for the expedition. As we can see, it was very serious and nobody considered Symmes as a fool.
Expedition Failed
The government considered to involve even the Committee for Foreign Relation in this, because they were expects that expedition will probably have contacts with some strange nations. However, expedition failed after government received some extra bills.
However, Symmes was not ready to give up. He started to lecture about his theory and he continued to lobby for the expedition. He died in May 1892.
Rodney M Cliff
This did not stop the grasps about the theory of the Earth hollow. Even today, a number of people talk about it. The author of the World Top Secret: Our Earth is Hollow Rodney M Cliff is definitely one of them. He explained that he had heard about this theory in Mexico when he was 16, where he was working on the farm. He said that he head heart of it from the farm manager’s son. This was just an beginning. He started to read about this strange theory and found a lot of evidences that our planet is hollow.
