Conspiracy Theories About Space Missions
This time I want to talk about the conspiracy theories that are related with space programs. There are many of them and people are still confused whether they are true or not.
Gagarin
In the first place, let’s back to the beginning; to the start of the so called Space Race between former Soviet Union and U.S. According to history and evidences that we all know, the first person who was launched in space was Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. His rocket was launched on April 12, 1962 in the Vostok Spacecraft. This was the huge and very important victory for Russians and Americans were desperate because of that. However, according to some theorists, Gagarin was not a pioneer in this first. In fact, he was just a backup and reserve plan of the communist’s regime. Some people think that there was one manned mission before Gagarin’s, but it was not very successful. Allegedly, cosmonauts before Gagarin were officially “lost in space” and nobody ever talked about them anymore.
Armstrong
The second conspiracy theory is about Neil Armstrong, U.S. cosmonaut and first man who ever walked on the surface of Moon. He was a part of the famous Apollo mission. There are a number of people who still thinks he was not even close to the natural satellite. However, this is not all about Neil. There is one strange story about the breakdown of the communication with the center on the ground. Within this two minutes of silence, Armstrong allegedly reported the appearance of the Unknown Flying Object- UFO. If this is true, then his famous lines that became part of the history have completely different meaning.
On the third place, we have a classic or “evergreen” of the conspiracy theories. It is Roswell case, of course. According to some experts in this field, this is definitely the biggest cover up in the history. It was in 1947, when several people reported strange object in the sky that crashed with great explosion. Military never explained what actually happened in this small town, but they spoke up with very “thin” explanation. According to officials, the mysterious object was nothing else but balloon that was designed for the weather research. Nobody believed in that. A lot of people still think that military covered up the real story. And the “real” story is that balloon was UFO that crashed near Roswell, and that government discovered few aliens in the spacecraft.
The Final Impact
Here is another story. Do you know how many planets are there in our solar system? I bet you do not. I do not, that is for sure. The numbers are not matter here. The real problem is with one particular planet within the Milky Way. This planet has several different names- Planet X, Nibiru, Wormwood… And where is conspiracy here? On the planet. Some people believe that astronomers hide from us that this big planet is approaching, and that it will collide with our planet. It will be the end of the world.
