Abydos and the Osirion Temple
The Egypt is the land of the history, magic, legend, myth and mysteries, of course. It is also the place of the birth one of the oldest civilizations. Wherever you go in Egypt, you will be surprised, that is for sure. However, some places and building deserve special treatment. This is definitely case with the famous Osirion Temple in the Abydos.

What is Abydos? When we say that the Egypt is an old country, then we have to say that the Abydos is one of the oldest cities in this country. It is a place in so- called Upper Egypt and ancient people used to call it Abdu or the hill of the symbols. This place is especially famous because the head of the Osiris is preserved there. We call it Abydos, because we follow the Greek tradition.
This particular place was the center of the ancient spiritual and secular center because people believed the tomb of the most powerful god Osiris, the god of the Dead and the underworld, was placed somewhere in the city. This place is also the location where other important temples were built.
One of the greatest is a temple of the ruler Seti the first and this building is now known as the Great Temple. Some of the best and finest objects in the history are now exposed in this temple. The building itself is very original and have a very unusual design. It was built in L letter shape. If you are interested in the Egyptian religion, you just have to go there and look for the most accurate list of the Kings and Gods.
The whole temple is designed according to the religion symbols, which is the reason why we have there seven shrines that are dedicated to the seven different Gods: Osiris, Isis, Horus, Amon Ra, Ra HorAkhty and Ptah, and, of course, Seti the first.
DNA and Futuristic Objects
The most mysterious part was found in 1848 when the archeological team discovered some strange and very mysterious hieroglyphs and items in the temple of the Seti the first. They are still very shocking because they, even they are very old, represent some modern objects, such as helicopters, airplanes, submarines, gliders and zeppelins. Probably the most fascinating is the item that is very similar to the modern version of the helicopter that have the ability to carry large cargo or even heavy army goods.
We do not even say that scientist are still very confused about the purpose of these objects.
However, this is not all of mystery in this temple. In one part, archeologists found mysterious “Flower of life”, the object which meaning is also unknown.
It is also interesting that this temple was much bigger than it is today. It had hidden rooms and parts which purpose was probably connected with the religious and ancient beliefs of those times. Some theorists believe that ancient Egyptians had knowledge about the DNA manipulation and that they knew how to communicate with the world of dead.
