Louvre and the Illuminati
The huge and impressive pyramid of Khufu in Egypt is the only original remain of the famous Seven Wonders of the old world. This is just one of the reasons why this masterpiece of the human architecture and skills is among the most valuable monuments of our civilization. Despite a huge number of the works and examination, this wonder is still shrouded in mystery. In other words, we do not know much about the construction methods, purposes and meaning of the Egypt’s pyramids in general.
Wonder of the World
According to some scientists, the Khufu pyramid and its two “neighbors” are placed in strict order and these monuments were built in accordance of the three stars that belong to the Orion constellation. However, this discovery does not tell us much, except ancient builders were familiar with the astronomical knowledge. We knew all that without such expertise. However, we can think about the Khufu pyramid whatever we like, but it is proven fact that this pyramid was the tallest building of that time.
However, not only this pyramid in Egypt is impressive and intrigue. We now have similar construction that was built from the glass and metal. This project completed in 1989 and now represents the recognizable scene of the most famous museum in the world. The building we are talking about is the glass pyramid outside the Louvre Museum in France.
The Number of the Beast
This pyramid is a subject of many theories with conspiracy taste. It is known that this object was constructed under the patronage of the president Francois Mitterrand. However, less known fact is that this pyramid was constructed with 666 pieces of the glass. And we all know what is the hidden meaning of this number. This was also the subject of the famous book The Da Vinci Code, where the main character Robert Langdon speculates about the mysterious plan of the Mitterrand to have 666 glass panels in the center of the Paris. The main thesis of this theory is that the Illuminati movement has something with this pyramid and their final goal of the New World Order.
In several different sources, we can read that the number of the glass panes is wrong. According to the information for the Louvre, there have been 672 glass panes in the pyramid’s construction. On the other hand, David Shugart mentions 689 pieces. This number can be true because Shugart refers on the I.M. Pei, the designer of the glass pyramid in front of the Louvre Museum.

This information is the biggest drawback of all conspiracy theories about the glass pyramid. However, it is very strange how the theory about the 666 glass panes was accepted and taken so seriously. Maybe the biggest responsibility goes to the author of the Da Vinci Code and his theory about the Illuminati and their secret plans. In the end, the best way for checking this theory is to go to the Louvre and count the panes by yourself.
