The Secret of the Ararat Anomaly
Why Mountain Ararat was so important to the American Central Intelligence Service (CIA) and why pictures of one particular piece of ice near the peak have been classified as top secret for almost one decade? The ice from the mountain melted in the meantime and revealed something extraordinary. The strange object that was lying under the ice and snow for millennia was nothing but the remains of the famous Noah’s Ark from the period that was described in The Holy Bible. This is, at least, what some theorists think about that great discovery.
Revealing the Documents
The significant breakthrough in the mystery of the strange object on the Ararat Mountain occurred after professor Procher Taylor forced CIA to give him documents according the laws of the Freedom of Information. This was a great turnover in this X files story because the officials from the CIA were compelled to release secret papers and photos in the public.
The public was shocked and very interested in the whole story about the alleged Noah’s Ark. The strict CIA policy and the strange behavior of their officials just stepped up the suspicions about the object that was occurring under melted ice. The reaction and statement of the officials were also unconvincing. US authorities said they did not publish the documents because of the secret targets and missions of the CIA. Nobody fell for it.
However, there are some questions that can call in question the theory of the remains of the Bible’s object. First of all, it is very questionable could the boat that was made from the wood survive to present. Some theorists think that could be possible, especially because the ark was made of the “gopher wood”, special sort of wood from the Biblical time and because of the fact that many similar objects have survived thanks to the ice and its power of the preservation.
Mystery Remains
We have one chapter in the Bible where it is said the Noah’s Ark sailed on the “mountain of Ararat”, but with no other precise details. If the object under the ice really is a secret object, it would be the best evidence of the God persistence and validity of the Christian theory.
The next step in the Ararat Anomaly was conducted in the joint efforts of the Insight Magazine and Space Imaging. The experts decided to use a mighty IKONOS satellite and they managed to capture the object again. It was in August and September 2000. It was obvious that something strange laying there in the peak of the Ararat Mountain.
However, the CIA denied theories about the Noah’s Ark and they still claim this is just an ordinary natural phenomenon- the product of the a lengthy process of ice and snow forming.
Although all expeditions were unsuccessfully in discovering Biblical object, adventurers from around the world still hope they will prove this object is real. One of the most famous Ark investigators Dr. John Morris said he would return to the mountain if some new evidences appear in the close future.
