Titanic Never Sank!
Although we all know the official story about the sinking of the famous Titanic on April 14, 1912, there are some speculations about this big accident and many unanswered questions. What happened to the biggest ship of that time? What was the main cause of disaster?
Several Theories
We now have several theories over this problem. One group of researchers thinks the ship sank because of the pack ice, not iceberg, which was the official theory. Second group assumes the disaster was caused by the failure of the security doors. We have some theorists who assume the big explosion in the coal bunker was the crucial in that situation. However, the most bizarre theory says the Titanic was deliberately sunk because of the big insurance. According to this story, another big ship of that time- RMS Olympic, had something with it.
It is great possibility we will never know the real truth about the sinking of this great ship, despite all those explorations with advance technologies, especially complicated deep dives. However, all relevant data and information are in front us- they lying in the bottom of the sea, waiting for us in the old wreck.
Dangerous Path
We also know the Titanic was in a big hurry, because the ship was late on its way to the harbor of the New York- its final destination. This was the reason why the captain decided to direct the ship on the dangerous Northwest Passage, the place that is known as a deadly area of the icebergs that floating from the Greenland. Despite the clear weather and optimal visibility, the Titanic boat failed to break through the passage and it crashed into a huge iceberg. We know what the consequences were.
The famous conspiracy theorists and expert for the Titanic accident Robin Gardiner claims in his book “Titanic: The Ship That Never Sank” that the disaster was caused by the big insurance fraud. He thinks everything was planned in the company White Star Line, which owned both biggest ships of that time- Titanic and Olympic.
Titanic’s Twin Ship
Olympic was a ship similar to the Titanic and both were built in famous shipyard in Belfast- Harland and Wolf shipbuilding company. Gardiner says the Olympic was damaged on its cruise by the military boat on September 20, 1911. According to the historical evidences, two ships collided in the waters near Southampton, just a few miles away from the British coast.
The company that owned cruiser- White Star Line, was in the big problem, because the company did not have insurance for the boat and the owners did not have enough money for complex repair. The company was facing bankruptcy.
This is the point where real conspiracy starts. According to the Gardiner, the owners decided to replace two ships and to transform Olympic into the Titanic. This task was not hard, because two boats were almost the same. They added a few details and changed the name. The ship that was sailed on the critical cruise was not Titanic- it was the Olympic. If Gardiner was right, then we can conclude the Titanic never sank! It was its twin boat- Olympic.
