The Famous Fatima’s Prophecies
The Great War, World War II, spreading of the communism in SSSR (now the Russian Federation) and the rest of the world, the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II, pandemics… are just the small pieces of the great prophecy that occurred in the 1917. These strange and mysterious events became known as a Fatima prophecy, named after a small village in the Portugal.
Lucia And Nephews
The story has started on May 13, when three children, Lucia Dos Santos (10) and her younger relatives Jacinta and Francisco took the sheep to pasture in the valley Cova da Iria near Fatima. Everything was normal, and the children started to play around. Suddenly, the great and a bright light appeared on the cloud above the tree and turned into “beautiful lady”.
Only Lucia was able to speak with the mysterious woman on the cloud, and she heard the lady said she comes from the Heaven. It was Madonna or the Virgin Mary, the mother of the Jesus.
The angel appeared six more times, revealing some of the greatest things that will happen in the future. However, not all were willing to believe in miracles. The politicians of that time wanted to prevent this “foolishness and superstitions” and the local authorities decided to prevent children from being present on the day of reappearance.
The Miracle
The angel from the heaven had different plans. Since the children were under house arrest, the Madonna decided to appear six days later. She spoke to the crowd and she said she would come once more, on the October 13, and that she will make a miracle.
It was exactly as she said. A group of journalist, who were present in the Cova da Iria valley, stated the rain suddenly stopped and the sun turned into the “fire wheel”, which moved to the ground. The people fell on their knees and pray for the mercy. Witnesses later explained that everything was dried up in the few seconds, although it rained just before the strange incident.
A large part of the prediction is still secret and it is kept in the church organization. We can just assume what Madonna really said to the Lucia and her nephews. However, a small part of the prophecy was announced and it is composed from three main messages.
Three Messages
The first prophecy was related to the scary visions and scenes of the hell. The Virgin Mary explained to the children that the “Great War will start soon”, and that many people would die during the battles. The children stated Mary also said the war would not last long. The world did not wait too long for the evidence. The first shots were fired next year.
The next message from the heaven was connected with even bigger disaster- Word War II. The Madonna said that strange light would appear in the sky before the “big evil” and that “Holy Father will suffer”. And really, gorgeous Aurora Borealis occurred over the Europe in 1938, just a year before German’s aggression on Poland.
The last known prophecy can be interpreted as a political message, because Mary described spreading of the communism in the East and its consequences for the whole world.
