Tesla’s Secret Weapon
Nikola Tesla was a genius scientist whose ideas were ahead of their time. And they are even today incomprehensible and mysterious for the most people. The main goal for the Tesla, beside the knowledge and theories, was to contribute to make the world became a better place for living. Free and unlimited energy were in the center of his scientific life.
Against The War
Tesla was not just a weird scientist. He was a man in the first place. A man who wanted to prevent wars and futile human sacrifice. One of his many inventions had just this purpose, to prevent and stultify wars. He did not succeeded, but not because he did not how to do that. Other people did not allow it. They just needed a war.
New York Times from the July 11, 1934, published headline story about Tesla’s newest invention, incorrectly calling it “Dead beam”. In the first place, Tesla's idea was never to cause harm to someone, which is the reason why the name dead was just inappropriate. The journalists stated in the article that this device could crash thousands planes from long distance. According to some calculation, these rays would be effective in range of the 250 miles.
Nobody Is Listening
Tesla’s original idea with this patent was quite different. He wanted to prevent any kind of invasion from the air and eventually bombing with these rays. It would be, as Tesla stated, some kind of the invisible defensive wall, which would prevent the war.
Unfortunately, nobody was listened the scientist. The World War II was at the door of the whole Europe and nothing could stop it. Not even Tesla.
He unsuccessfully tried to find investors for this invention, but all governments, including USA, Great Britain, Canada, Yugoslavia and SSSR, were rejected him. Just for the record, Soviet Union showed the most interest, and the scientist received $25.000, which was far less than required sum.
Tunguska Case
Officially, this Tesla’s project was called “New Art of Projecting Concentrated Non-Dispersive Energy Through Natural Media”, and it was designed as a vacuum tube with huge turbine. The energy for this device would be supplied with a complex of the power plants.
Although there is no evidence Tesla ever used this device, some authors assume it was tested in 1908. Allegedly, Tesla tried his rays just ones, and the effects was devastating.
This “incident” occurred on June 30, when the hundreds and hundreds square of acres of the Siberian tundra in Tunguska area was destroyed. According to the later investigations, this kind of explosion was equal with 15 megatons of TNT, which makes it one of the greatest explosions in the history. Everything in the area was ruined, with huge crater in the center.
Tesla never confirmed he was responsible for this incident. Some scientists think it is caused by the huge meteorite from the sky, but this theory has never been confirmed.
T
he legend over the Tesla’s “killing rays “still remains the mystery. The scientists never talk about it. He died lonely and disappointed because the people could not understand him. He failed to prevent the war.
